The East Jaffrey Historic District is a historic district running roughly along NH Route 124 (Main Street) through Jaffrey, New Hampshire.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
There is no longer an "East Jaffrey". There are two business centers within Jaffrey, called "Jaffrey" and "Jaffrey Center". Jaffrey, the location of the East Jaffrey Historic District, lies to the east of Jaffrey Center, which has its own historic district, the Jaffrey Center Historic District. An "East Jaffrey" post office once existed, but a 1959 decision by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names established that the name of the eastern village had become simply "Jaffrey".[2]
